Award winner recognized for applying AI and machine learning to Marketing ROI
conDati, Inc. was named the winner of the 2018 USAA Pitch Competition in Austin, Texas, concurrent with this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) events. conDati uses data science to collect and blend data from every important marketing source into a unified data asset to provide visibility, predictive analytics, and optimization of digital marketing.
The competition consisted of presentations to a judging panel by 9 finalists selected from among dozens of applications from leading-edge AI start-ups. The industry all-star judging panel included Hans Morris, Managing Partner of NYCA Partners, Manoj Saxena, Chairman of Cognitive Scale and the first General Manager of IBM Watson, and Wayne Peacock, President of the Property and Casualty Insurance Group at USAA.
conDati was selected as the winner based on its innovative use of data science techniques to create intuitive, real-time visualizations of massive volumes of marketing data. conDati's dashboards eliminate time-consuming manual reporting from multiple systems, provide end-to-end and top-to-bottom financial performance analyses of all of an enterprise's digital marketing campaigns, and monitor campaigns for irregularities and anomalies that require human attention and decision.
"conDati is honored to receive this recognition," said Ken Gardner, founder and CEO of conDati. "The volumes of data generated by martech systems are too large for most companies to afford the infrastructure and data science expertise to make sense of it all, so most marketers find themselves flying blind. By putting the data and the data science in the cloud, conDati brings complete and current visibility of the financial performance of digital marketing campaigns at prices that mid-market enterprises can afford."
With the continued growth of global digital marketing spend to more than $300 billion this year, marketing teams find themselves adding more and more cloud-based systems to manage all the different aspects. Each of these standalone systems has its own database and reporting environment, resulting in "spreadsheet hell": the weekly ritual of screen-scraping reports from multiple systems to create an overview report that is incomplete and often inaccurate. conDati eliminates this manual reporting and provides drill-down capability through all levels of campaigns for on-demand current performance analysis and reporting. The unified data asset also enables conDati to detect anomalies, provide predictive forecasting, and help to optimize campaigns' financial performance.
conDati was founded in 2017 by a team of successful entrepreneurs with years of experience in the management of big data and the application of data science to difficult big data problems. The company is currently working with mid-market beta customers in e-commerce, digital media, and higher education, and plans its first generally-available release in Q2 2018.
